First Look at The Smurfs?

February 1 2010 by dcfemella in Uncategorized |No Comments

via ugo.com

Is a Smurf movie coming? According to Ugo, they grabbed a shot of a CG rendered Smurf. I wonder if this is a capture of a movie still. There have been rumors floating around for a bit, so I wonder if there is any truth to it. What do you think? Would you want a Smurf movie?

History Channel’s Life After People is a Must-Watch Series

December 23 2009 by dcfemella in show |No Comments

History Channel’s Life After People shows what would happen if people would no longer inhabit the Earth. It starts from the first second to almost 10,000 years later. I was lucky enough to have caught this series when it first started, and I was hooked.

It has the History Channel’s way of showing through reenactment and special effects how the Earth would slowly change after people. They combine that with experts discussing their theories of how the Earth would change. These changes includes animal behavior, infrastructure deterioration, and environmental changes.

The new season begins in January, and I am excited to see what new developments have been made in this wonderful series. History Channel is definitely one of my favorite channels to flip through. The series that come out are never anything short of amazing. Life After People is another series that they can add to their list.

The online site has videos, photos, and games that relate to the show. Of course, the TV schedule.

If you are able to check out this series, definitely do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Alma: A New Short Animated Film

December 21 2009 by dcfemella in anime |No Comments

via almashortfilm.com

I came across “Alma.” It’s a new short animated film by Rodrigo Blaas, a director from Spain. This is so cute. She kind of resembles a Precious Moment caricature. The story is macabre, which I like. Definitely check it out. It’s only five minutes long and worth every moment.
